A.S. Crowder spends their days working in billing and their nights writing about the fantastic. They love a big story and a big character and can often be found playing RPGs or video games or watching professional wrestling. Their short story, “Scattered in the Spires,” was a finalist in the 2019 Chattanooga Writers’ Guild Spring Contest. They are an active member in their local library’s writing group and have written short stories included in every anthology the group has published. Their YA contemporary fantasy FAMILY BUSINESS was selected for mentorship in round 9 of Author Mentor Match. PHENOM, their retelling of Phantom of the Opera set in the world of professional wrestling, was selected for mentorship in the 2024 round of WriteHive’s HiveMentor program.
